Acceptable Use and Content Policy

Prohibited content

The following is never permitted on MyEvent, regardless of event type or host moderation settings:

• Content depicting or sexualising minors, in any form
• Non-consensual intimate imagery of any person
• Content that harasses, threatens, or incites violence against any person or group
• Illegal content of any kind under UK law
• Malware, or files disguised as photos/videos
• Spam or content unrelated to the event

Reporting content

Any guest or host can report a photo or video directly from the gallery. Reported content is flagged for host and MyEvent admin review. We may remove content and/or suspend an event that breaches this policy, without prior notice in urgent cases (e.g. suspected illegal content).

Safeguarding

If you believe content on MyEvent depicts child sexual abuse material or endangers a child, do not attempt to investigate it yourself — report it immediately to us at safety@myevent.co.uk and, in the UK, to the Internet Watch Foundation (iwf.org.uk) or the police.

Host responsibilities

Hosts are responsible for enabling moderation where the event or audience warrants it (e.g. large public events), and for promptly actioning any reports they receive.
